Sports Court Paving

Tennis and Sports Court Asphalt Paving Services

For years, Albert's Paving of Winchester, VA, has been constructing brand-new asphalt tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts. Asphalt is the best base material available for hard court materials, even if post-tension concrete will last longer. The body does not experience the same detrimental long-term impacts from it as with the denser concrete finish.

Let Albert's Paving Replace Your Asphalt Sports Court Surface

Hard courts can be tailored to the customer's preferred color(s) and speed, unlike clay or Har-Tru courts. On the court surface, other sports, like basketball, volleyball, and so forth, can be set up to your liking. The main distinction between concrete and asphalt courts is how they are constructed internally. However, both types can be customized to have the same features.

Creating Your New Asphalt Court

Building your asphalt tennis court is a complex procedure that begins once you've decided on the materials, colors, and cushioning options. We will assess the slope of the installation site, the underlying soil characteristics, and the most effective means of guaranteeing adequate drainage. Next, we'll ask what kind of coatings you want and whether you intend to have heavy equipment on the court at any point.

The asphalt base must cure for 30 days following installation before the color coating procedures may start. Any spots on the surface where ponding can occur are revealed by flooding the court, and those trouble spots are fixed using a patch binder. The tennis court playing lines and markers are next applied, followed by two to four applications of acrylic resurfacing materials and color. Your courts will be prepared for play once the curing process is finished!
